About Dr. Blaylock
Russell L. Blaylock, M.D. is a board -certified neurosurgeon who completed his medical training at the Lousiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Afterwards he spent five years of neurosurgical training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. There he worked with the eminent neurosurgeon, a teacher and researcher Dr. Ludwig G. Kempe. Together they published over a dozen scientific papers.
Dr. Blaylock, a clinical assistant professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, has written and illustrated three chapters in medical textbooks and a patient booklet on multiple sclerosis. For the past sixteen years he has had a busy private neurosurgical practice. During the course of his practice he has treated many cases of neurodegenerative diseases.
Russell L. Blaylock, M.D., is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Southern Neurosurgical Society, The American Nutritionist Association, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, and the Society of Neurosurgical Anesthesia and Critical Care.
